Freedom of Worship and Expression of Faith – Covenant of 1607

Keeping our faith strong not only keeps us spiritually and emotionally strong, but it also has a great positive effect on our physical health.
Did you know that the United States is the only country in the world that was established or founded to worship Jesus Christ?
I suspect very few Christians or citizens realize that the settlers in Jamestown in 1607 established this National Covenant:
“We do hereby dedicate this Land, and ourselves, to reach the People within these shores with the Gospel of Jesus Christ, and to raise up Godly generations after us, and with these generations take the Kingdom of God to all the earth. May this Covenant of Dedication remain to all generations, as long as this earth remains… May all who see this Cross, remember what we have done here, and may those who come here to inhabit join us in this Covenant.”
Jamestown Settlers Covenant Dedication, 1607
This covenant was made before God, and we are still a part of it. Though this may be the first time you’ve ever read this, you can now join in into this covenant with those who have gone before.
God doesn’t forget covenant, neither should we.
